1984 - 1989

The launch of Russell Telecom Ltd

Following the privatisation of the telecoms industry, Russell Systems Telecom as we were then known, became the north’s first independent telecoms company specialising in the supply and maintenance of large scale office phone systems.

Accredited Toshiba Dealership

Our accredited dealership contracts signed with Toshiba, a similar dealership following with NEC in 1996.

BSI Registered

Our BSI registration enforced our growing reputation as leaders in our field and provided customers an even higher level of service and expertise.

Opening Leeds office

With continued growth and expansion of Russell Telecom throughout the north of England, the decision was made to open a purpose-built office in Leeds, the UK’s fastest-growing city, to serve Yorkshire & the north-west.

Russell Telecom’s relocation

Moving to a purpose built, state of the art head office on the banks of the River Tyne at Gateshead’s Watermark.

An upgrade to the Yorkshire branch in Leeds

Following the relocation of Head Office in 2004, the Yorkshire office relocates to a similar, state of the art office in Morley, Leeds.

Russell Telecom support Daft As A Brush

A sponsorship programme is agreed between Russell Telecom and Cancer Patient care Charity, Daft As A Brush, where we donate to the DAAB charity for every telephone system we supply. daftasabrush.org.uk
