7,000 MILE BLUEBELL BUS COASTAL PATH WALK
AROUND GREAT BRITAIN AND IRELAND
Thank you for your help and support. I am pleased to report that I have walked across the Kessock Bridge at Inverness
that spans the Moray Firth and have now reached the village of Munlochy which is 638 miles from the start of the walk at
the Gateshead Millennium Bridge; it has taken forty-two days of walking!
Whilst on route, the Bluebell Team has visited all the main cancer centres on the east coast of Scotland at Edinburgh,
Dundee, Aberdeen and Inverness.
After each presentation we have delivered, hospital staff at the various cancer centres in Scotland have also had the
opportunity to view the Newcastle Hospitals DVD. They are all very impressed with the work and kindness the charity
provides to cancer patients and are most interested in how soon it can be started in their hospitals.
We are very pleased to announce that on 23 May 2018, the Bluebell Team and bus will be visiting the Scottish
Parliament in Edinburgh.
We look forward to the next stretch of the walk to John O’Groats. It is planned that we will arrive there at midday on
Wednesday, 6 June 2018 (D Day) and during the month of July, the Isle of Skye.
With very kind regards and hopefully, we might see you on 23 May and / or 6 June 2018?
